SRK leaves Mannat for renovation; neighbour to Bhagnanis

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is set to temporarily relocate as renovation work begins on his iconic Bandra bungalow, Mannat, in May. Having lived there for over two decades, this marks the first time since the late '90s that SRK and his family will share a property with others. During the renovation, they will move into two nearby apartments, giving Shah Rukh ‘next-door neighbors’ for the first time in more than 20 years.
The actor along with his wife Gauri and children, Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam, is set to temporarily relocate to four floors of a luxury apartment building in Bandra’s Pali Hill area. The building, Puja Casa, is co-owned by filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani, his son actor-filmmaker Jackky Bhagnani, and daughter Deepshikha Deshmukh. Notably, Puja Casa is named after Vashu’s wife, Pooja Bhagnani, just like his film production company, Pooja Entertainment.
King Khan has leased two duplex apartments in Puja Casa, occupying the first, second, seventh, and eighth floors, while the rest of the building houses other residents. According to sources, renovation work at Mannat is scheduled to begin in May, including a long-planned extension for which SRK had to obtain court approval. Since Mannat is a Grade III heritage structure, any structural modifications require proper permissions. As a result, the Khan family is expected to stay at Puja Casa for at least two years.

Puja Casa has been home to the Bhagnani family for years, with Vashu Bhagnani and his wife residing there alongside their children. Actor-filmmaker Jackky Bhagnani and his wife, actress Rakul Preet Singh, also live in the building, as seen in their geotagged Instagram posts over the years. With Shah Rukh Khan and his family moving in temporarily, the Bhagnanis will now be their neighbors for the next 2-3 years until the Khans return to a newly renovated Mannat.
According to HT, the sources revealed that SRK and his team are taking measures to ensure proper safety and privacy at the apartment complex. The apartments have been leased for a period of three years.
