Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his next film, King, an action-packed spectacle directed by Siddharth Anand. Scheduled to begin filming in May, the superstar has reportedly shed a few kilos to meet the role’s physical demands.King stars Shah Rukh Khan alongside his daughter Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abhay Verma in lead roles. Initially set to be directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the project later went to Siddharth Anand. The action-packed film is scheduled for release in 2026.
After King, Shah Rukh Khan is expected to begin work on Pathaan 2, reportedly starting in early 2026. According to a source, the script is finalized, and Yash Raj Films (YRF) is finalizing the director. Siddharth Anand, who helmed Pathaan (2023), is unlikely to return.
