'The Second Husband' duo welcomes a baby boy

Congratulations are in order for the much adored 'The Second Husband’ couple.

have turned parents to a baby boy! On October 16, Uhm Hyun Kyung's agency, Yeojin Entertainment, announced that the actress recently gave birth to a healthy child. This heartwarming development comes after the couple's earlier revelation in June that they were expecting a child, sharing their intentions of tying the knot.

At that time, Cha Seo Won's agency, Namoo Actors, revealed their plans to host a wedding following his military discharge. Cha Seo Won, who enlisted in November the previous year, is scheduled to complete his military service in May 2024.
Uhm Hyun Kyung, born in 1986, began on her entertainment journey with the sitcom ‘Rainbow Romance
in 2006, and since then, she has made her appearance onscreen with roles in popular dramas such as ‘Defendant’, ‘Single Wife’, ‘A Man in a Veil’ and many others..

Cha Seo Won, born in 1991, marked his acting debut with the drama ‘Heirs’ in 2013 and has since left his mark in the industry with appearances in series like ‘Liver or Die’ and ‘Unintentional Love Story’ among others. Notably, the talented duo shared screen space in the drama ‘Miss Lee’ in 2019 and, more recently, they featured in weekday drama ‘The Second Husband’, which aired from August 2021 to April 2022.
