Throwback: Sridevi chatting with Ash and DP

The sudden demise of Sridevi sent shockwaves amongst her fans across the nation. The actress passed away on February 24, 2018 reportedly due to

accidental drowning

in a hotel's bathtub in Dubai.
While it has been five long years after her death, we recently got our hands on some rare pictures of the Bollywood diva where she is seen interacting and laughing with Aishwarya Rai and Deepika Padukoneat an event.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sridevi, and Deepika Padukone were captured sitting together, their attention fixed on the stage. However, what truly warmed our hearts was the way Sridevi held Aishwarya's hand in the photo. For those unfamiliar, Aishwarya and Sridevi share a long-standing friendship, and witnessing them clasping hands firmly was a truly heartwarming moment.

Sridevi chose to wear a sparkling pink jumpsuit, leaving her hair flowing freely. She went for a glamorous makeup look and kept her accessories minimal, wearing diamond studs and a watch. On the other hand, Aishwarya Rai looked lovely in a blue anarkali dress adorned with intricate gold zari work all over. She paired it with a matching dupatta, left her hair in loose curls, and completed the look with a traditional bindi.

Deepika Padukone exuded grace in the six yards of her fuschia pink-hued Kanjeevaram saree with golden borders. Teaming her saree with a matching strappy blouse, Deepika tied her hair in a bun. Talking about her accessories, she went for a statement gold choker and matching earrings to complete her look.

As soon as these pictures made their way onto social media, likes and comments poured in from all sides. While one fan wrote, 'This frame. Whoever was in charge of the seating arrangement had to be given a raise', another one added, 'Deepika slayyyyeddd in that saree. Sridevi looked dazzling! And ofc, Aish, no words can describe her beauty'.
