Triptii Dimri

, who came to fame with her role in '

Animal

', recently talked about the challenges she faced in her path to become an actor. The young actress discussed the harsh comments she faced and how some people tried to hold her back as she worked towards her acting career.
In an interview on Katrina Kaif's brand Kay Beauty by Katrina's YouTube channel, she explained that although she is originally from Uttarakhand, she was raised in Delhi, where her family still lives.

According to her, moving to Mumbai was challenging, especially with the pressure of facing large groups of people daily. She faced harsh judgments from society and even some criticism from her own family, who worried that her career choice would lead to negative outcomes like poor associations, wrong decisions, and difficulties in finding a marriage partner.

She mentioned that she felt confused and lost hope at times when work was scarce. Despite this, she was determined not to return to her parents with a sense of failure. She also recalled how her parents were immensely proud after the release of her first film,

Laila Majnu

, with her father calling her and expressing his joy.

Earlier this year, Triptii, who gained national fame from her role in Ranbir Kapoor's Animal (2023), addressed the label of India’s "crush" at an event in Mumbai. She was asked whether the "national crush" tag bothered her.

She expressed her gratitude, noting that her experience has been quite positive. She feels fortunate to have received much love and appreciation from her audience throughout her career, both for her earlier films and recent releases.
Triptii shared that when she first entered the industry, her goal was for people to focus on her work rather than anything else. Fortunately, her films have received attention for her performances, which she believes motivates actors to improve and continue honing their craft. She feels very fortunate in this regard.
