The Sonpur Mela is also known as the Harihar Kshetra Mela. It is one of the largest cattle fairs in Asia, held annually in Bihar, India, this event is about the animal trade and also displays folk dances and more. Here are 10 animals that are making headlines this year.

Mohan the bull

This bull is no less than a family member to it's owner, it is the most dilligent animal and follows his owner's instructions generously. This bull has also won the award of the best bull of Bihar in a popular contest.

Golu raj the bull

This bull costs a whopping 2 crore. Its monthly maintenance costs around Rs. 40,000 per month. It's rich diet includes, dry fruits, and grams, milk and much more.

Raju Horse

He is an incredibly talented horse that dances, talks and also greets the visitors with a warm namste when instructed.

Exclusive horses

These include a Bahubali horse costing around 12 Lakh and a beautiful white horse which is acclaimed by its owner to fulfill the wishes of whoever owns it.

Shooter the dog

This special dog has been imported from Tibet to India by it's owner for Rs. 1,70,000. It has famously fought a leopard in the Himachal. What is shocking to know that it is just a 6-month-old pup.
