During an audience interaction, Vidya Balan shared her feelings about returning to the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise after 17 years.

Reflecting on her iconic role as Monjulika in the first film, she expressed excitement and joy at the opportunity to revisit the character.
Vidya also mentioned how this new installment allowed her to portray Monjulika in a fresh and different way, bringing a new dimension to the beloved character that fans have adored for years.
The actress reflected on the deep connection 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' shares with Jaipur, where the original 2007 film was entirely shot. She expressed immense gratitude for the love she received over the past 17 years and the joy of returning to the franchise.

Vidya warmly shared her belief that the affection will only grow, saying, "Satra saal baad main Bhool Bhulaiyaa mein aayi hoon, iski khushi to bahut hai, par aaj mujhe lag raha hai ki jitna pyaar mujhe 17 saal mein mila hai, usse kai zyada agli 17 saal mein milega."
