Virat-Anushka's London cafe date video goes viral

A viral video of Bollywood power couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma doing the rounds on social media had fans wondering if the two had already shifted base to the UK. Amidst buzz about their big relocation plans, a video of the couple, enjoying a casual cafe date in London has made its way on fan handles.

Interestingly, this clip was shot back in the summer of 2023 when the two were in London, enjoying some down-time together.

The clip, originally shared by a fan on Instagram, showed the couple enjoying coffee at a quaint bakery, almost oblivious to onlookers until a fan spotted them from behind the pastry counter. Sharing a clip of the two, the fan captioned the post, “I’m dying.” The fan later met the couple and the two obliged her with a couple of photos which also went viral on social media.

The video has reignited fresh speculation about “Virushka” preparing to relocate to the UK. According to multiple reports, the couple has been spending extended periods in London and is considering a permanent move to provide their children, Vamika and Akaay, with a quieter upbringing away from the limelight. Dr Sriram Nene, the husband of actor Madhuri Dixit, once revealed in a conversation that the couple explained they “can’t enjoy their success [in India]” due to constant attention. Virat’s childhood coach, Rajkumar Sharma, also confirmed the couple’s intention to shift, suggesting that the move is more than a temporary stay. The couple last hit the headlines with thei adorable PDA on the field as Virat's team picked up the IPL trophy.
