The BCCI on Saturday announced that the board would be releasing 14,000 tickets ahead of the marquee ODI World Cup contest between India and Pakistan in Ahmedabad.
“The BCCI announces the release of 14,000 tickets for the highly anticipated India v. Pakistan match to be held on October 14, 2023, at Ahmedabad,” the BCCI said in a press release.
“The sale of tickets for the match will commence from 12 PM IST onwards on October 8th, 2023. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting the official ticketing website at https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com,” it added.
The much-awaited India vs Pakistan clash was originally supposed to take place in Ahmedabad on 15 October, but was preponed by a day after the Ahmedabad Police said they would be unable to provide security for the match due to the Navratri festival.
The first set of online tickets were quickly sold out after it released in August.
India begin their World Cup campaign against Australia in Chennai on Sunday (8 October). The team will then travel to Delhi where they will face Afghanistan on 11 October before facing Pakistan three days later.
Pakistan, meanwhile, clinched an 81-run win over Netherlands in their opening match of the World Cup on Friday.
