Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 continues its box office success, surpassing Total Dhamaal's lifetime collection and becoming the fifth highest-grossing film of his career with ₹156.85 crore in 22 days. Directed byRaj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 has collected an impressive Rs 156.85 crore in 22 days, edging past Total Dhamaal’s Rs 155.67 crore mark.A sequel to the 2018 hit Raid, this thriller once again sees Ajay Devgn don the role of the fearless Income Tax officer Amay Patnaik, taking on corruption and black money hoarders. The film also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles. While Raid 2 opened to strong numbers with Rs 19.25 crore on Day 1, it showed resilience over the weekends and holidays, capitalizing on positive word-of-mouth and Devgn’s enduring mass appeal.In its opening week, Raid 2 amassed Rs 95.75 crore, benefitting from its gripping narrative and a loyal fanbase built over years through Ajay’s action-packed and intense performances. The second weekend witnessed a solid hold, collecting Rs 25 crore over three days, and the film maintained steady collections in the third weekend too, despite facing competition from new releases.With this, Raid 2 has now joined the ranks of Ajay Devgn’s biggest successes, trailing behind Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (Rs 277.75 crore), Singham Again (Rs 247.86 crore), Drishyam 2 (Rs 239.67 crore), and Golmaal Again (Rs 205.69 crore).

The film's success also marks another high point in director Raj Kumar Gupta’s career, reaffirming his knack for delivering gripping thrillers with socially relevant themes be it Aamir or No One Killed Jessica.The ensemble cast added to the film’s appeal. Riteish Deshmukh’s surprise turn in a villain role was well-received, while Vaani Kapoor’s performance brought a fresh dynamic to the story.
