Akshay Kumar accused of using Teleprompter again in Kannappa- Video goes VIRAL

Actor Akshay Kumar has once again found himself at the centre of social media controversy, this time for allegedly reading from a teleprompter in his new film Kannappa. The criticism comes months after a similar viral moment from Sarfira went viral early this year.

At the time, viewers claimed to have spotted him glancing at a teleprompter and reading his dialogue.

Despite the backlash he received then, Kumar appeared unfazed.

The new clip from Kannappa shows the actor dressed as Lord Shiva, delivering an intense monologue. However, a close-up of the scene sees the actor's eyes moving from left to right, which netizens are now claiming that he was allegedly reading lines from a teleprompter off-camera.

Some even claimed to spot the white reflection in his eyes. The video quickly spread online, reigniting conversations around the actor opting to read his lines rather than learn them. Fans and critics alike took to their handles to express their disappointment. One wrote, “And then he brags that he needs just one day to prep for a character! He doesn’t prep—he just reads off a screen. No wonder it shows in his performances.”

Another added, “This is unacceptable, especially when he's charging Rs 100 crore per film plus profit share. The least he can do is learn his lines.”Another asked, “Why are filmmakers even okay with this?”Despite the allegations, the actor has remained undeterred, continuing with his multiple film projects. His last outing, Housefull 5, received an average reception at the box office. His next film Hera Pheri 3 is currently making waves over Praesh Rawal's brief exit from the film and subsequent return this week.
