'F*** you' chant erupts at Kesari 2 screening
After the show, Akshay addressed the audience, recalling the emotions that fueled every scene of the film. The filmmakers had earlier revealed that the actual visuals were too disturbing to show. Audiences also caught a glimpse of Akshay’s character, advocate C. Sankaran Nair, who delivered a searing retort to General Reginald Dyer after being called a ‘slave’ to the British Empire: “F*** you.” Today, that very line echoed beyond the screen.
“When we were making this film, every scene reminded us how much anger must have burned inside everyone after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. And unfortunately, today, that same rage has been reignited in all of us. I think you all know what I’m talking about. Even today, to those terrorists, we have just one thing to say — what I said in the film,” Akshay said, passing the mic to the crowd.

The theatre erupted as fans shouted the iconic line: “F*** you.”
