Amid high security, Chattisgarh man arrested for attempting to illegally enter Salman Khan's Galaxy apartment; claims he just 'wanted to meet him'

A 23-year-old man, Jitendra Kumar Singh, was arrested for allegedly trespassing into Salman Khan's Mumbai residence, Galaxy Apartments, on May 20. Earlier that day, he was confronted near the residence and later gained entry by slipping in with a resident's car. He claimed he wanted to meet the actor, amidst heightened security due to recent threats against Khan.

In a new security scare, a 23-year-old man allegedly entered Salman Khan's Mumbai residence, Galaxy Apartments, earlier this week, police said on Thursday.According to an NDTV report, police revealed on Thursday that the man, identified as Jitendra Kumar Singh, entered Salman Khan's residence on May 20 around 7:15 pm.Man Arrested for Attempted Illegal Entry at Salman Khan’s ResidenceAs per police, Jitendra was first spotted near Salman Khan's Bandra residence around 9:45 am. A security officer posted at the location asked him to leave. Reportedly angered by the confrontation, Jitendra smashed his mobile phone on the ground. Later that evening, he entered Galaxy Apartments by slipping in with a car belonging to a resident of the building.However, he was stopped by the police again and subsequently handed over to the Bandra police for further action.During interrogation, Jitendra told the police that he simply wanted to meet the actor. “The police were not letting me meet him, so I was trying to hide,” he said.Jitendra, a resident of Chhattisgarh, has been arrested and a case has been registered against him. Further investigation is underway. It remains unclear whether Salman Khan was at home during the incident.

Heightened Security Amid Ongoing ThreatsIn recent months, Salman Khan has faced multiple threats, leading to increased security around him. Mumbai Police is taking the incident seriously as they work to ensure his safety and investigate the motive behind the breach.

On November 5 last year, Mumbai Police received a threat message against Salman Khan, allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The message gave him two options: apologise or pay Rs 5 crore to stay alive. A similar threat from the same gang followed later. Salman returned to Mumbai last week.
