 ‘I stand tall and stronger’

One of Bollywood’s power couple Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty are once again making headlines. Due to their alleged connection to a

case, they were asked by the Enforcement Directorate to vacate their house in Juhu, Mumbai, and Pune farmhouse. However, Raj and Shilp challenged their notice in Bombay High Court and the HC has put a hold on eviction till the couple submits their stay application.

This has given interim relief to the couple. Meanwhile, amid the ongoing legal proceedings and turbulence, Raj Kundra has taken to Twitter to write a cryptic note.
He tweeted, “For the two men that tried to tarnish my reputation and bring me down. I forgive you, but let me remind you—it’s not easy to break someone who stands on the foundation of truth and courage! The light of honesty always prevails.”
“I stand tall & stronger than ever. Jai Mata Di (Hail mother Goddess along with folded hands and evil-eye emoji),” added Raj

Details on the ponzi probe
This all started in 2018, when according to the Bar and Bench report, ED was looking into Amit Bharadwaj, who was accused of being involved in a Ponzi scheme. Initially, Raj and Shilpa were not on ED’s radar, but in April 2024 they were notified that their assets were being provisionally attached. According to the couple, they have been nothing but cooperative throughout the investigation. They have replied to all summons and given all documents requested by the authorities in connection to their probe.
However, on September 27, Raj and Shilpa were served a notice to vacate their residences in Mumbai and Pune within 10 days. However, as aforementioned the couple fought back and as of now has been given relief with a stay order on the notice.
