Rekha on why she never remarried: “I give all”

“I don’t feel the longing anymore,” she said. Rekha explained that even if she met the perfect man to have children with, it wouldn’t be fair to her values or life goals.She said, “Even if I were to find the perfect man to raise children with, it wouldn’t be fair to my values. I’m not someone who can dedicate myself solely to one person. If I had a child, my focus would shift entirely toward them, and I wouldn't be able to give time or energy to anything else.”A larger connection beyond familyRekha went further to explain that her connection is not limited to a family but stretches to a much wider circle. “And what about all the children and people across the world who I feel spiritually connected to? If I possess the privilege of being Rekha, then it’s my duty to be available to anyone who reaches out to me.”Though Rekha has never remarried, she made it clear that if she were to be in a relationship, she would be fully devoted.

She described the way she would care for her partner in a way that might surprise many.“I’m someone who gives everything in a relationship,” she revealed. “I’d make his bed, choose his clothes, oversee his meals, and even pack his lunch and deliver it myself. That’s how focused I am.”But Rekha also knows that such devotion means she would have to step back from her larger life and responsibilities. “But doing all that means I’d have to turn away from the larger world that looks up to me.”She even admitted her view might sound unrealistic, but she is honest about her feelings. “If I do meet someone who accepts that I come with a world of admirers, then perhaps I’ll reconsider.”
