Salman Khan's beloved dog
Toro
has sadly passed away.
The actor's rumoured lady love, Iulia Vantur, took to her social media handle to share the
sad news
with an emotional and goofy video of the Khan family's adorable pooch.
In an Instagram post, she shared, "Thank u for blessing our lives my lovely Toro Boy... U’ll be with us forever."
The video that was posted in memory of the dog, featured some of his cute moments keeping Salman company on the Bigg Boss sets, at the gym, and even at the actor's Panvel farmhouse. Among the many photos, was a glimpse of Toro's picture in a heart-shaped frame, presumably placed on Salman's table.
Besides Iulia, Salman has also often posted pictures of the pooch on his social media handles. While not spending cuddle time with the mutt, he has also been seen taking the furball to keep him company at the gym as he worked out.
The news has left fans and
animal lovers
alike offering condolences to the Bollywood superstar, known for his affection toward his pets. Back in 2019, he shared a picture with Toro and wrote, "Spending time with the most loving, loyal and selfless species."
The actor who is an avid pet lover has also in the past, done many things for his pets. The actor once donated a portrait of himself and his dogs Myson and Myjaan to the Bombay Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BSPCA). He also erected a memorial for them near Mehboob Studio in Bandra.
On the work front, Salman will be seen next in the film 'Sikandar', which is slated to be released on Eid 2025.
