The second season of ‘
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives
’ is all set to premiere soon. The newly released trailer teases a fresh wave of drama, broken relationships, and the introduction of a new cast member. All ten episodes of the new season will be released together on May 15.
The scandalous world of Mormon is revisited in season two. Tensions within the group start to increase when a former member from the swinging controversy returns. The teaser suggests that friendships will be put to the test, secrets will be revealed, and accusations will cause more divisions.
A number of dramatic developments are also hinted at in the teaser, such as relationship problems, police involvement, and an incident that occurred while the group was in Italy filming "Vanderpump Villa."
Cast members
Several original cast members are returning for the new season. Confirmed participants include
Taylor Frankie Paul
, Whitney Leavitt, Demi Engemann, Layla Taylor, Jessi Ngatikaura, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, and Jen Affleck. A new addition, Miranda McWhorter, joins the cast this season. Previously known as Taylor Frankie Paul’s best friend, Miranda’s five-year-long friendship with Taylor ended during the earlier scandal. She is introduced in the trailer as “the girl who was swinging with Taylor.”
Additionally, Whitney Leavitt, who had conflicts with numerous people during the previous season, is returning. In a TikTok video announcing her comeback, she said she was prepared to have tough talks and continue working with the group.
Additionally, YouTuber Aspyn Ovard is rumored to have made a brief appearance after being spotted at a Halloween party while the movie was being filmed. She has since moved from Utah to Los Angeles, though, so it's unclear how involved she was.
Upcoming developments
Last October, the second season's production got underway. Ten of the season's episodes will center on the dramatic points of friendship, faith, and social media, though a total of twenty more episodes have been ordered.
A positive pregnancy test (probably involving Jen Affleck), tense encounters with Taylor Frankie Paul's ex-partner Dakota Mortensen, and severe personal hardships among the group members are just a few of the major plotlines hinted at in the trailer. Season two of ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ is expected to be a dramatic and emotional journey for the women, with relationships at a breaking point and old conflicts resurfacing.
