According to reports, Justin Bieber's close friends and family are becoming increasingly concerned about his increasing involvement with pastor Judah Smith and the Churchome church.
Several longtime friends, including Ryan Good, Bieber's former road manager and co-founder of his fashion brand, Drew House, have distanced themselves from him as a result, according to reports from Page Six.
Sources claim Ryan Good has not spoken to Bieber in over a year. This fallout is reportedly linked to Good’s discomfort with Bieber’s deepening relationship with Judah Smith, who is a lead pastor at Churchome. One source stated, “Judah Smith was a big factor in their separation,” adding that Good viewed the church as having a "cult-like" influence.
Church Ties Spark Division
Justin's appointment of Judah Smith to the brand board reportedly caused tensions to rise. The decision was deemed "weird" because Smith has no experience in business or fashion, according to insiders. Bieber proceeded with the appointment in spite of these reservations, which apparently made his relationship with Ryan Good even more strained.
Justin Bieber leaves Drew House
Earlier this month, Justin Bieber publicly distanced himself from the fashion label he co-founded. In a message posted alongside a screenshot of the brand’s Instagram page, he stated: “I, Justin Bieber, am no longer involved in this brand. Drew House doesn’t represent me, my family, or my life.”
“Don’t waste your money on Drew House if you’re rocking with me, Justin Bieber the human,” he concluded.
The unexpected public announcement increased worries among his former supporters and friends. According to people close to Ryan Good, Bieber's tone and sudden break from the brand they co-founded particularly worried him.
Growing Concerns about Justin Bieber’s behavior
Bieber's online activity and public appearances in recent months brought up more concerns about his mental health. In one case, fans and colleagues in the industry expressed concern over a sluggish rap performance on Instagram Live.
A representative for Justin Bieber later denied rumors of drug use, calling such claims “exhausting and pitiful.” Nonetheless, sources told TMZ that former friends like Ryan Good are still concerned about Bieber’s well-being and isolation, especially as his personal and professional circles appear to shrink.
