Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko has landed in further controversy after a second female co-star accused him of inappropriate behavior on the sets of the unreleased film 'Soothravakyam.'
Disturbing and laced with “sexual connotations”

Aparna John
, currently based in Australia, has backed earlier claims made by actress Vincy Aloshious and described Shine Tom Chacko’s conduct on set as disturbing and laced with “sexual connotations.”
Vincy’s allegations were 100 percent correct.
Aparna John told a Manorama news channel that Vincy Aloshious’ earlier allegations — including Shine Tom Chacko allegedly spitting out a suspicious white powder — were “100 percent correct.” While she could not confirm what the powder was, she said it could have been something as innocuous as glucose but highlighted his behavior as "abnormal and erratic."

"He was hyperactive and constantly on the move.”
"He was hyperactive and constantly on the move, speaking incoherently. Whenever a woman was around, his remarks would turn inappropriate and indecent." Aparna John claimed. “His energy was unmatchable, and his speech included strong sexual overtones — it felt like verbal diarrhea,” she added.
Feeling deeply uncomfortable as a newcomer in the industry, Aparna John said she brought the issue to the attention of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) on the film set. In response, the crew reportedly ensured her scenes were completed quickly so she could exit the project early.
Aparna John’s revelations come after Vincy Aloshious had earlier lodged a complaint with the Film Chamber and informed AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists), accusing Chacko of misbehaving under the influence of drugs. Though no police complaint has been filed in that case, Shine Tom Chacko reportedly apologized to Vincy Aloshious.
Compounding his troubles, Shine Tom Chacko was recently arrested and released on bail in a separate drug-related case. He had allegedly fled from a hotel during a raid by the District Anti-Narcotic Special Action Force (DANSAF). He now faces charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for causing the disappearance of evidence and under the NDPS Act for drug consumption and abetment.
Kerala Govt. to take allegations seriously
The Kerala government has stated that it is taking the allegations seriously and reportedly confirmed that both the police and excise departments are investigating the matter.
