Soha Ali Khan has revealed that her brother, Saif Ali Khan, has fully recovered from the brutal knife attack he suffered in January and has now resumed work. Saif, 54, was assaulted at his Bandra residence in the early hours of January 16 by an intruder who stabbed him multiple times.
“It disturbed all of us. Our main concern was that he was fine, which he was, and has fully recovered now and is back to work. That was our focus. Thank God, he is alright,” Soha told PTI in a recent interview.
The Vikram Vedha actor was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent spinal and plastic surgeries. He was discharged on January 21.
Bail hearing for accused continues

Meanwhile, a sessions court on Tuesday asked the Mumbai Police to file a response to the bail plea of

Mohammad Shariful Islam

, a Bangladeshi national accused of stabbing the actor. The 30-year-old claimed in his plea that he had committed no offence and that a false case had been registered against him.
The case came up for hearing before Additional Sessions Judge A M Patil, who asked the police to submit a reply. The matter is scheduled to be heard again on April 4.

Saif Ali Khan Spotted at Airport

According to the bail application, the investigation is nearly complete and only the charge sheet remains to be filed. It also claimed that the accused has cooperated fully with authorities and that “no useful purpose will be served by detaining him further in custody.”

The attack on Saif, which took place in his 12th floor apartment in Mumbai’s upscale Bandra area, had sent shockwaves through the film industry. The motive behind the assault is still under investigation.
