Stree 2 is now the 9th biggest Hindi film ever

. There seems to be no stopping for the sequel to 2018 superhit film Stree, even as it enters the second week.
In the first week which was an extended week thanks to Independence day and Raksha Bandhan, the film minted Rs 291.65 crore thus making an entry into the Top 20 Hindi films of all time.

And now in its second week, Stree 2 has begun competing with the big boys as it has entered the Top 10 list of Hindi Cinema’s biggest hits by claiming the 9th position.
Stree 2 minted Rs 17.5 crore on 2nd Friday and witnessed a near 90% jump on Saturday to collect nearly Rs 32.5 crore, as per early estimates by Sacnilk, taking the overall collection of the film to Rs 341.65 crore. With this collection, Stree 2 has beaten the lifetime collection of

Tiger Zinda Hai

(Rs 339.16) and

PK

(Rs 340.8). This is not all, Stree sequel has also set records for the highest second Saturday collection beating Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan which had minted Rs 31 crore.
With Sunday still to go and Janmanshtami on Monday, Stree 2 is all set to enter the Rs 400 crore club and compete for a spot in the Top 7, which has names like Dangal, KGF 2, Animal, Baahuhbali 2- The Conclusion, Pathaan,Gadar 2, and Jawan.
