When Kareena called Salman a 'very bad actor'

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has never shied away from saying exactly what’s on her mind. There was a time when the actress made headlines for her bold opinions—especially about her contemporaries. In an old interview,

shared her uncensored thoughts about Bollywood’s three reigning Khans.
In a conversation with Umesh Jivnani, a young and fiery Kareena didn’t hold back as she shared her views on Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan.
Starting with Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena was full of admiration. "I’m totally in love with him. Don’t even ask me about him because if I start, I won’t stop talking about him for hours. Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh are the only two actors I admire," she said. She further shared that Shah Rukh has an amazing "boy-next-door" appeal, which makes every girl want to take him home to her parents. She also added that his performances amuse her.
But the tone shifted dramatically when the topic turned to Salman Khan. Kareena admitted, "I’m not at all a Salman fan. I don’t like him; he’s a very bad actor. I tell him that he hams all the time."

As for Aamir Khan, Kareena’s review was more balanced. "Aamir's good. I really liked him in Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke and QSQT, but out of the Khans, I’m a total Shah Rukh fan," she stated.
Kareena also took the opportunity to reflect on her identity as an actress and how she set herself apart from her elder sister, Karisma Kapoor. "When people see me on screen, they will realise that I’m totally unlike Karisma. We are poles apart as actresses. Even as individuals, we are totally different." She added that her sister has struggled a lot and had to make it to the top by herself. She called Karisma’s career path “very strenuous.”
Kareena spoke of legendary actresses who inspired her. She mentioned Nargis Dutt and Meena Kumari while sharing who she truly looks up to. She feels there are no other heroines like them.
