The film which released on Friday, minted Rs 1.20 crore, while on the second day, the film saw an almost 100 % jump to see its overall collection reaching Rs 3.60 crore. The jump in the collection was also because of the increasing demands by the audience, thus distributors increased the shows from 750 on day 1 to 1600 on day 2, and going by the trend, the number of shows will increase on day 3 ( Sunday ) as well.
During its first time release, the film had minted Rs 188.57 crore, and with the re-release numbers, the collection has now gone up to Rs 192.17 crore. The trade is epxecting the film to mint at least over Rs 3 crore on Sunday, and hopes to enter the Rs 200 crore club by the end of the week. There are new releases coming on the 10th of January like Sonu Sood’s Fateh, but the lack of audience excitement might just help YJHD to make more money at the box office.
