'12th Fail' opened with just Rs 1.11 crore on Friday, but saw a jump in collections over the weekend, earning Rs 2.51 crore on Saturday and Rs 3.12 on Sunday.
The film ended its debut weekend run with a decent score of Rs 6.74 crore. But on Monday, the film saw a dip of over 50 per cent and collected just Rs 1.2 crore, reports Sacnilk. With this, the four-day total of '12th Fail' stands at Rs 7.84 crore. The film saw an occupancy of 10.04 percent on Monday, with night shows pulling in the maximum audience. It is also being observed that the film is doing much better in metros than in smaller towns. 12th Fail has a clean run till the release of Tiger 3 on 12th November as no big movie is up for release.
'12th Fail' delves into the challenges faced by countless students who aspire to conquer the UPSC entrance examination. The story revolves around the resilient protagonist, Manoj (played by Massey), who encounters failure in his 12th-grade board exams but refuses to succumb to despair. Instead, he embarks on a fresh academic journey, setting his sights on the formidable UPSC examination.

Kangana Ranaut's 'Tejas', which struggled to establish a strong connection with the audience, garnering a mere 4.25 crore rupees over the course of four days. The film's performance on Monday was particularly lackluster, as it earned only Rs 50 lakh.
