DP shares struggles with Dua's sleep

Recently, she re-shared an Instagram reel that resonated with her experience of Dua’s sleep patterns.

In the reel, a baby tries to keep one eye open during sleep, with a caption that reads, “Trying to keep myself awake here, because if I sleep…my mom will take a shower, eat, clean the house, and no more snuggles.”
Sharing the video, Deepika wrote, “True Story.” The actress could relate deeply to the struggle of adjusting to a new routine as she embraces motherhood for the first time. She had previously posted about missing her husband, actor Ranveer Singh, whenever he’s away on shoots.

Last Diwali, Deepika and Ranveer delighted their fans by sharing the first official glimpse of little Dua, accompanied by a note revealing her name. In the photo, Dua is seen sitting on her mother’s lap, with only her tiny feet visible. She’s dressed in a red, elegant kurta-pants set. Sharing the picture, Deepika captioned it, “Dua Padukone Singh | दुआ पादुकोण सिंह 🧿 ‘Dua’: meaning a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude. Deepika & Ranveer.”
