Selena gets an unusual engagement gift from Jimmy

Selena Gomez has been all over the internet for her engagement with the music producer Benny Blanco, and Jimmy Kimmel gave her an unusual engagement gift when she made an appearance on his show.
Jimmy Kimmel, a 57-year-old comedian, has been a host of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ since 2003. During Gomez’s appearance on his show for Monday’s episode, she received a not-so-traditional or necessarily practical gift from the host, but one she could enjoy. She was on the talk show to promote her movie ‘Emilia Perez’. After congratulating her on her engagement, a specifically unwrapped present was given to her, which was ‘Daddy Saddle’. The image on the box was of a young girl sitting on the back of her father with a saddle that had been fastened like a horse. Kimmel mentioned that she could wrap around Benny in a wholesome way.
When the ‘Love You Like A Love Song’ singer started chuckling her heart out, he mentioned that the gift doesn’t have any double meaning or suggestions, and advised her that she could just imagine the father’s hair to be a lot curlier and her being the little girl on the back.
She accepted the present graciously and mouthed ‘WHAT?’ to the audience, humourously.

While swiftly removing the green Christmas wrapping that was glued to the box, he made a joke on how the gift had perhaps been a re-gift.
Gomez and Blanco recently made an appearance as a newly engaged couple at the 82nd Golden Globes. She was wearing an ice-coloured satin dress, custom-made by Prada. With a Tiffany & Co. necklace and ice-blue heels, she was the Cinderella of the night with a Marquise diamond ring on her finger. She was with her Prince, Benny Blanco who wore a white suit and floral top.
