Sunny on why wife kept away from limelight

Sunny Deol, who is currently riding high on the super success of his last release, '

Gadar 2

', recently graced Karan Johar's celebrity chat show

along with his brother Bobby Deol.
On the show, the actor opened up about why his wife

Pooja Deol

has consciously kept away from the limelight. Sunny said that both Pooja and he are just individually like that.

According to him, one would like to go out to a friend’s place or a more intimate gathering where you can chill out. You’re constantly shooting in front of the camera.
He also added that when you’re walking around, there are people staring at you. So there has to be some time where nobody’s looking at you. He also shared that it is one of the reasons he goes abroad a lot whenever he gets a chance because nobody bothers him there.

Talking about why he avoids Bollywood parties, Sunny added that he doesn't drink and is a shy guy. For him, after a full day’s work he would rather be somewhere he is more relaxed. According to him, he is an early riser and he avoids parties as they go on till late at night.

Apart from these things, Sunny also spoke about the blockbuster success of 'Gadar 2', his equation with his brother Bobby Deol and his patch up with director

Rajkumar Santoshi.
On the work front, Sunny has reunited with Santoshi for his next titled, 'Lahore, 1947'. The film is being produced by none other than Aamir Khan.
