The world of movies and the grapevine that feeds it can often be quite misleading. Actors get approached with multiple offers everyday and these developments filter through various channels to the media and the fans. It is this information, or what's traditionally referred to as grapevine that ends up fuelling reports of big stars being approached for or being signed on to big projects.

A few reports recently suggested thatSunny Deol and

Tabu

could be heading for an on-screen reunion. But ETimes has been able to verify that these claims aren't actually true.
For the last few weeks there's been a lot of buzz around Aamir Khan's production 'Lahore 1947', which is going to feature Sunny Deol in the lead, with Aamir in consideration to play a cameo. But there were other reports that suggested Tabu had also been approached to reunite with Sunny in the movie. But ETimes was told this news isn’t true. Tabu hasn't been approached for the role yet, said her spokesperson.
If this casting coup of sorts does happen in the near future, the fans and movie buffs will surely have reason to rejoice, but as of now, it's all unverified speculation. Sunny and Tabu have worked together in multiple movies in the past. They were cast together in 'Border', '

Maa Tujhe Salaam

', 'Jaal' and 'Jeet' among other films.
As for 'Lahore 1947', this film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi is still in the pre-production phase. As ETimes had previously revealed, for now only Aamir and Sunny are confirmed to be part of the cast. Whether Sunny's son Karan Deol ends up playing a role or another actress is cast opposite the 'Gadar 2' star, are updates we will keep a close eye on and reveal once we have confirmations from our trusted sources.
