'Tejas' box office collection day 2

After opening at Rs 1.25 crore at the box office on its first day of release, the Kangana Ranaut starrer collected a similar figure on its second day. After two days since its release, the aerial action film has earned a total of ₹2.5 crore.
According to a report in Sacnilk.com, On Saturday, '

Tejas

' had a Hindi occupancy rate of 7.58 percent, which was an improvement from its opening day when it had a 6.83 percent occupancy rate.

'Tejas' was released concurrently with Vidhu Vinod Chopra's '

12th Fail

,' featuring

Vikrant Massey

, which also had a similar initial occupancy but saw an increase on Saturday, likely due to positive word of mouth.

On Saturday evening Kangana took to her social media handles to share a video message with her fans where she urged her followers to go and watch her film in the theatres. She captioned the video, 'Even before covid theatrical footfalls were dipping drastically post covid it has become seriously rapid. Many theatres are shutting down and even after free tickets and many reasonable offers drastic footfall decline is continuing. Requesting people to watch films in theatres and enjoy with family and friends or else they (theatres) won’t be able to survive. Thanks.'

In the video, she discussed the concept of community viewing and mentioned that often, the audience doesn't get the opportunity to experience 99 percent of the films. She went on to say that people who enjoyed movies such as 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' and 'Mary Kom' will also appreciate 'Tejas' and encouraged them to visit the theaters, particularly the multiplex audience.

'Tejas' has been directed by Sarvesh Mewara and tells the story of Tejas Gill, an Air Force pilot, who embarks on a perilous rescue mission. The movie is intended to be an inspirational tale that fosters a strong sense of national pride among every Indian. It portrays the dedication and hard work of Indian Air Force pilots as they bravely protect the nation, facing a multitude of challenges in the process.

The film also features a cast that includes Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, Ashish Vidyarthi, Vishak Nair, Kashyap Shangari, Sunit Tandon, Rio Kapadia, Mohan Agashe, and Mushtaq Kak. The film's music has been composed by Shashwat Sachdev.
